Post-Modern "Christianity"

Apparently, in post-modern Christianity belief in God and in Jesus as the Divine Savior and 2nd Person of the Trinity isn't too important. Here's an article from BBC News about a Dutch Protestant Pastor who is proud that he is a "Christian" clergyman who believes that it's all just a bunch of bunk.

Satire is now becoming reality. In Evelyn Waugh's satiric novel Decline and Fall Mr. Prendergast, Anglican minister, wants to quit the ministry because he no longer believes in God, however, the Anglican Bishop urges him not to quit since not believing in God does not affect his day to day duties as a parish priest.
