The above painting is of demons attacking Saint Anthony. In yet another excellent post, Father Dwight Longenecker reminds us that we are engaged in spiritual warfare and that the current attacks against the Pope and the Church are ultimately engineered by the Father of Lies. Father Dwight also points out that "tolerant" secularists are tolerant only so long as religion complies with the demands of the culture. At some point, "tolerance" will demand that religious people abandon their beliefs and principles in order to be "tolerant."
"For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12.
